Seo Taiji's 'Good bye Special' will be aired on MBC. According to the 1st confirmation about this news by Donga.com, on Jan.30 the Yanggoon Entertainment and MBC came to an agreement to air the Seo Taiji's live concert on Feb.17 or 18. Meantime, several controversies between the Yanggoon Entertainment and the MBC about the cost, U$250,000 for production of the 'Good bye Special' was solved by a certain volunteer supporting company. Seo Taiji side will take charge of editing the program, and the producer, Ko Jae-hyung in MBC who is very intimate with Seo Taiji since his debut as 'Seo Taiji & Boys' produces it. Ko Jae-hyung said "This project will bring the Seo Taiji's activity from 'Come back Special' to many popular song ranking programs by MBC to a successful conclusion", and "I edit the ten national touring shows ¡®Taiji¡¯s Conversation¡¯ (except the encore concert) and hope that this program will encourage the popularization of hardcore pimp-rock genre in Korea." The airing of Seo Taiji's 'Good bye Special' was supported by his many enthusiastic fans, also. For achieving this, the executives of 'Taiji Mania site(www.taijimania.org)' handed in MBC on Jan.31, the 1,140 petitions and written statements of fans about the various kinds of statistical data related to the Korean popular songs world. Not only for this, Seo Taiji gained 8,761 supports as 80.87% from whole 10,834 voters in Live Poll by Donga.com Enjoy Music, so he was selected as top of the ranking for the most preferred singer in special music programs of the broadcasting companies.
