Feb. 17th Taiji-Newsletter
Taiji flew to Japan on Feb. 14, Valentine¡¯s Day, and came back
to Seoul about 9:45 p.m., Feb. 16. We taijimanias cannot but see
the tremendous snowfall we had yesterday as a trick by Taiji ¡°Scissorhands,¡±
who tried to cool down our flippant hearts in Valentine¡¯s Day.
Why did he fly to Japan? Well, Taiji doesn¡¯t want to let on the
reason until the right time comes. You guys know how discreet he
is. Don¡¯t feel too sorry about this, please. How much has the editing
work been done? Editing starts from a song with the worst quality
of sound, Taiji says, and just one song a day can be edited. Really
time-consuming and painstaking labor¡¦ So, probably, it will be
aired on Sunday, Mar. 4th, as tentatively agreed with MBC. The date
for his flight to America has not been appointed yet. For now, I
can¡¯t say anything about whether he will make his departure schedule
public or secret. A little regrettable news: the so-far hinted fan-meeting
on the Internet seems almost impossible. Taiji poured all of his
heart and energy into the encore concert, his last stage of the
6th album, with nothing left for another farewell meeting. Let¡¯s
wait for his come-back with a new album. Next week, I¡¯ll report
about whether a concert video or live album is released. Taiji is
still gauging its possibility. I hope the decision is made as we
want it to be. Anyway, let¡¯s leave it up to Taiji, our Ultraman.
Taiji can be a real Ultraman when we let him be himself, free from
any restrictions. Next week is our Ultraman¡¯s birth-week.^^ See
